A CANINE AFFAIR

A Canine Affair is a strange little reunion that only happens when I’m asleep. I find my dog again in sleep, no longer bound by time, pain, or absence, but moving gently through a space that feels like peace. It is unclear whether he is continuing into another life or simply resting at the end of his journey.

Maybe he’s on his way to another life, or maybe this is just where his story ends. Either way, the dream feels like a soft in-between, where goodbye isn’t so final.
